Main Objective
This research was conducted in order to examine and identify the cause and effect of pressure reversal that sometimes occurs during hydrostatic testing of pipelines. The concern is whether hydrostatic testing in some pipelines may, in fact, reduce rather than establish the integrity of a pipeline.
