Main Objective

Under this grant award 'the Center for Rural Development of will bring the AWR 302: Pipeline Security for Rural Communities course to requesting jurisdictions across the nation. The TAG funds will be used to deliver the Pipeline Security course to seven communities.

Public Abstract

Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient must demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application.

  • The 7 deliveries proposed to be scheduled with the TAG funding will be selected from
  • the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RDPC) "wait list" of communities that have requested the Pipeline Security course
  • The State Administrative Agency (SAA) and local point of contact for each request will be contacted to confirm the request is still valid The requests will be processed in the order the requests were received (oldest request first).
  • Print and ship training materials to specific training sites which includes Participant Manual and Pocket Guide to Pipeline Security Incidents for each participant to keep
  • Receive course paperwork from training sites
  • Analyze and summarize pre/post-test and course evaluations
  • Issue certificates of completion to each participant
