Main Objective
Under this grant award Pipeline Safety Coalition will conduct a feasibility study of the expansion of pipeline safety education in the Northeast United States. in order to enhance the numbers of informed communities who play a vital role in safety and reliability of pipeline operations in this region.
Public Abstract
Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient must demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application.
- Identify and evaluate short range and intermediate range regional pipeline safety needs and goals in the Northeast.
- Define strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of a PSC organizational structure transfer to Northeast regions.
- Define a critical path necessary for the expansion of pipeline safety education in the Northeast.
- Research and identifii strategic centers for geographic reach: Milestones.
- Evaluate interstate transferability of ASV TAG work products.
- Identify fiscal and physical resources needed expand pipeline safety education and enhance the numbers of informed communities who play a vital role in safety and reliability of pipeline operations in the Northeast United States.
- Using cost based analysis, vet enhancement and management of PSC webs ite as host site for cohesive, regional messaging.
- Identify and outreach to other supporting organizations.
- Produce a feasibility study that evaluates potential for success.
- Maintain records for transferability of Project.
- Produce final report.
