Main Objective
Under this grant award MISS DIG System. Inc., will conduct Public Awareness Impact Surveys to gauge the impact of placing billboards and/or other public awareness building efforts in various regions of Michigan by conducting a pre-post survey evaluation of the public's attitude and awareness of the need to provide a dig notice to the MISS DIG System, the state notification system, prior to digging.
Public Abstract
Under the terms of this agreement. the Recipient must demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application. — Technical Survey (Public. Awareness Impact Survey) - is a Pre-post survey evaluation of public attitude and awareness of the need to provide a dig notice to the state one-call. — Pipeline Incident and Damage Reporting - In line with PA 174 of 2013 MISS DIG will educate on the need to report damages effective April 1, 2015. — Production and Distribution - A training video and educational pamphlets will be created on the importance of and how to use the Damage and Incident Reporting Tool. The video will be posted online so views can be tracked, and the pamphlets will be available along with DVD's of the training, and a PDF online.
