Under this grant award Northampton. County of, will purchase one (I) Thermo Scientific TruDefender FTX handheld Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometer system.

Public Abstract

Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient must demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application.

  • Purchase of one (I) Thermo Scientific TruDefender FTX handheld Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometer system.
  • The aforementioned meter will provide first responders the ability to detect leaks during emergency response to natural gas. pipeline and other emergency incidents.
  • The equipment would be issued to the City of Bethlehem's Fire Department. which has a state certified hazardous materials response team that is one of two contracted teams to respond to incidents within the County of Northampton.
