Main Objective

Under this grant award Sevier County Utility District will upgrade and enhance both pipeline and public safety.

Public Abstract

Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient will demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application.

  • Deploy Geographic Information System (GIS) web mapping technology to the general public and county employees.
  • Purchase an intrinsically sale Remote Methane Leak Detector (RAM)) and train employees on how to properly use it.
  • Purchase and install two (2) Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) for the County's. Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition SCADA system to be able to accurately monitor and record pressure, flow, and ambient temperature at the appropriate locations in real time.
