Main Objective

Under this grant award Pipeline Safety Coalition will leverage work from two previous Technical Assistance Grant projects to support Pipelines Informed Planning Alliance (PIPA) recommendations. Tier I will advance the work product of Pipeline Notification Protocol (PNP) through the remaining 66 counties of Pennsylvania by creating standardized notification protocol for pipeline operators to use in proposed pipeline projects prior to the permitting processes. Tier II will advance the work product of educating the Educators: Pipeline Procedure and Safety Education Program (PPSEP) by producing. activating and employing the online program established by the PPSEP conducted feasibility study.

Public Abstract

Under the terms of this agreement. the Recipient must demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application. — Under Tier One. o Promote adaptation and adoption of the proactive principles of PNP to the remaining 66 Pennsylvania counties. o Produce informational brochure o incorporate PNP access to the PSC website o Promote incorporation of PNP on state government websites such as County Commissioner Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) and Pennsylvania 's Local Government Academy (LGA) o Maintain records for transferability of Project o Produce final report. — Under Tier Two.. o Utilize the PPSEP feasibility study to produce the web based course o Produce, activate and employ the online program o Promote PPSEP through advertising and social media o Provide risk management through education o Maintain records for transferability of Project o Produce final report
