Main Objective
Under this grant award City of Port Aransas will enhance their Distribution Integrity Management Program. Distribution Facilities Replacements Prouam, GIS Mapping, Emergency Plan, Damage Prevention Plan. Public Awareness Program, and Operations & Maintenance Plan through the use of engineering analysis and technology.
Public Abstract
Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient will demonstrate completion of the work through the actions it has specified in its Application.
- Improve the quality and quantity of data retrieved to fine tune risks associated in operating the natural gas distribution system in City of Port Aransas.
- Expand and update the GIS mapping system gracellillv with GPS locations of leak migrations; display leak history on pipeline segments; construction activities and one call mark outs: inspections and maintenance history, to improve the level of knowledge related to the natural gas distribution system.
