Main Objective
Under this grant award the Blenheim Hose Company will purchase four GX-2003 Five Sensor gas detectors and one base station radio to improve emergency communications in the event of a pipeline disaster. Training will be provided on the proper use and calibration of the GX-2003 units. These detectors will be used to detect any leaks from the Enterprise Products Partners, L.P. pipeline which carries propane gas and runs directly through the Town of Blenheim.
Public Abstract
Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient will demonstrate completion of the work through the following action:
- Purchase four GX-2003 Five Sensor gas detectors and one base station radio to improve emergency communications in the event of a pipeline disaster. Training will be provided on the proper use and calibration of the GX-2003 units. These detectors will be used to detect any leaks from the Enterprise Products Partners, L.P. pipeline which carries propane gas and runs directly through the Town of Blenheim.
