Main Objective
Under this grant award the Town of Flower Mound will provide hands on training for the entire fire department in the event of a pipeline emergency. In addition, town staff will continue to map the locations of pipelines to be included in the Town's Geographic Information System, and perform emergency response plan reviews on a regular basis. These projects will all be part of a larger Emergency Response Preparedness program to ensure that the Town's staff is prepared for any potential pipeline emergencies.
Public Abstract
Under the terms of this agreement, the Recipient must demonstrate completion of the work through the following actions:
- Provide hands on training for the entire fire department in the event of a pipeline emergency. In addition, town staff will continue to map the locations of pipelines to be included in the Town's Geographic Information System, and perform emergency response plan reviews on a regular basis. These projects will all be part of a larger Emergency Response Preparedness program to ensure that the Town's staff is prepared for any potential pipeline emergencies.
