  1. Support a Damage Prevention Education Program for industry stakeholders
  2. Support Public Awareness and Stakeholder Education
  3. Review the Effectiveness of Damage Prevention Program

Public Abstract

ELEMENT 4 - EFFECTIVE EMPLOYEE TRAINING: Phase One of our project will propose specific regulation or policy to improve this element. Our goal is to meet PHMSA's expectations to fully implement all best practice elements. Phase Two of our project will be communication with all stakeholders regarding the proposed changes. We are confident stakeholders will help further develop and polish the proposal to best meet our goals and take into consideration unique South Dakota interests.
