Main Objective
This project will enhance the accuracy of GIS data pertaining to high-pressure pipelines in Leon County.
Public Abstract
Leon County will contract with TLCGIS to enhance the accuracy of the location data of the high-pressure pipelines in Leon County; The TLCGIS will utilize existing data from a variety of sources including official property record files, existing GIS files and field data compilation; GPS technology will be utilized in acquiring positional location of all available physical indicators for actual pipeline locations; and The TLCGIS will secure services of a licensed and registered surveyor to gain access to otherwise inaccessible land and to assist in providing support services in enhancing the location data for each pipeline.
