Main Objective
Purpose of the research was to perform an engineering evaluation of the use of all stainless steel full circle band clamps for permanent repair to natural gas service plastic piping.
Public Abstract
Wyle Laboratories has completed a detailed critical review of the available data and other information regarding the use of all stainless steel full circle band clamps for permanent repair to natural gas service piping. The research included an analysis of the opposing positions concerning the use of the clamsps, and the preparation of defensible recommendations relevant to their integrity and reliability as a means of providing a permanent repair for the stated use.
