Gas Integrity Management Public Workshop - Houston

The Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) and the National Association of Pipeline Safety Representatives (NAPSR) will cosponsor a workshop to discuss the Gas Pipeline Integrity Management final rule. There is no fee for attending this workshop.

The Research and Special Programs Administration's (RSPA) Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) and the National Association of Pipeline Safety Representatives (NAPSR) will cosponsor a workshop to discuss the recent Gas Integrity Management Rule (Final Rule published on December 15, 2003, Federal Register/Vol. 68, No. 240). The workshop will provide a detailed review and discussion of Gas Pipeline Integrity Management provisions as set out in the Final Rule. The RSPA/OPS and NAPSRS will gather issues presented at the workshop needing additional clarification or guidance material development for implementation of the rule. A follow-up workshop focused exclusively on the oversight process RSPA/OPS and NAPSR will employ in overseeing this rule will be held this year in the Fall.
