Welcome to the Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management (IM) web site.
This web site is designed to provide information to regulators and pipeline
operators on Gas Integrity Management including the Gas IM NPRM (49 CFR Part
192, Subpart O) and information on the Pipeline and Hazardous Material
Safety Administration's (PHMSA's) oversight (inspection and enforcement) of
the Gas IM Rule.
The information on this site will continue to evolve to ensure that it
represents the most up-to-date reference on Gas IM for regulators and
operators. We are currently in the initial stage of implementing the
oversight program. Information of particular interest to operators as they
continue development and implementation of their IM programs include PHMSA
inspection protocols, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), electronic forms
for submitting required notifications to PHMSA, and electronic forms for
submitting required periodic performance measures.
